Beth Hoeckel: Inspiration

While perusing The Jealous Curator the other day, I stumbled upon the work of artist Beth Hoeckel. She works with paint, collage, and mixed media to create these wonderfully playful, retro works of art. Each piece evokes in me a sense of fantasy and wonder but at the same time a bit of nostalgia.  In these next few weeks of summer, I'm hoping to jump back into the art world and have some fun for a small break from design.
