Wave Box

For this box I really focused on the shape, choosing form over function.

More Profiles

Allysen's was difficult because her head was tilted again, so I worked on adjusting the triangle to make the proportions more accurate.

Staring at People

These were hard for me to do, because I kept on worrying about whether the person I was drawing would notice me staring at them.

A Place for an Egg

This was my first design project of the year. I'm so proud!

Downtown Greensboro

I had fun doing the umbrellas on this one, although looking back it might have been better to leave them as negative contours.I had trouble with the windows lining up right in this one.
I liked the trash bags here surrounding the leaning tree trunk, it was a nice break from the straight lines on the buildings. For this one I would have liked to go back and add more detail in the tall buildings.

Bicycle

This one I found really difficult to draw, especially the spokes of the wheels. I also messed up in several places like with one of the handle bars being much longer than the other, but overall it turned out alright.

Contour Drawings of College St.

I liked this one okay, but I thought it lacked depth.

I tried Jake's suggestion of putting something large in the foreground with the lamppost and then repeating an image throughout the drawing to create more depth. I think it worked but the architecture in this drawing is not as accurate as the first.

Negative Contours

geometric shapes!

Blind Contour of Hand

It's a little disproportional, but it is still fun to look at.
