As it turns out, working alone on the Albemarle project was a lot harder than I expected so after spring break, I decided to join the Stria group with Laura Snoderly and Heather Link. We presented our project yesterday to the class though our final presentation to the Albemarle community will not be until April, so we will be making a few changes to the design before then. I worked on a bike repair and custom bag shop that is located in the middle building of the complex. A restaurant and open market is to the right next the main street and residencies are in the back of the complex to the left (shown below). This is what I have so far:
I am a graduate of the Interior Architecture program at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. This blog began my 1st year in the program and documents all my projects, experiences, and inspirations from my 4 years in design school. Please take a look at my work and feel free to leave any comments.
I really like what you did with this, Lily! The bike shop is awesome! Love your work- Mama
