I am a graduate of the Interior Architecture program at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. This blog began in my 1st year in the program and will continue on as my design experience grows. Please take a look at my work and feel free to leave any comments.
The title of my blog is part of a quote by my all time favorite artist, Robert Rauschenberg (pictured above). Although I am not really a fine artist myself, I think of interior architecture in a similar way as kind of a midpoint between art and life. Design has a sense of practicality that applies to life when art does not, yet it brings an aesthetic quality to everyday functional objects and spaces. Therefore, "The Gap" is not an empty void at all, but really it is filled with the creative yet practical ideas that make up design.
Nice color scheme, nice job!
